What verse do you find the most helpful to your Christian walk?
I couldn't pick a single verse, but I really like Philippians 4:4-9. Paul gives very practical steps to help me think right.
Phil 4:4-9 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive and inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

My favourite verse would probably be Ecclesiastes 12:13. Many people wonder what the purpose of the life of man is and Ecclesiastes tells us what it is:
Ecclesiastes 12:13 This is the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole of man.

How about Romans 7:24-8:1
Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I love this one for guidance and strength: Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (NAU)

Cub, I love that one too. I had to restrain myself from listing the whole book of Philippians, the New Testament, the Bible. There is so much wisdom in the Bible.

I like Hebrews 12:1, 2 for encouragement. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. We have many who have gone before us and Jesus Himself suffered for what we have. If they could do it, I can do it, too.
