It seems they have a quiet serenety about them that allows them to accept whatever life dishes out and whatever God would have them do. Me? Sometimes there's a fair bit of kicking and screaming.

The kicking and screaming is true for me too! I seem to always go back to the dedication of Hannah. She knew what she wanted and was willing to completely rely on God to get it. And then, once she got what she desired, she was able to give him to God. That's definitely a good lesson, to remember that the things in our lives and even the people in our lives do not belong to us--they are God's--for His purpose, His plan.
